The mission of the Robert A. Bogan Fire Museum is to educate the public on the history of the Baton Rouge Fire Department and how the Fire Department operates to protect the public. The Robert A. Bogan Fire Museum has a facility where individuals of all ages are able to experience educational programming and exhibits focused on our mission to educate the community.

Education
The focus of the fire safety education program is school tours. However, we offer fire education programs to the community of all ages. Our long rang vision is to add an AV room to screen fire safety films and install a much apartment to simulate a fire event.
Exploration
One of our primary missions is to preserve and care for objects, photographs and documents to trace the history of the Baton Rouge Fire Department. These items are placed throughout the buildings 2 floors for you to discover.
